Wendell Ray Moore

MCKENZIE, TN Funeral Services for Wendell Ray Moore, 76, will be Friday, May 24, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Liberty Hill Baptist Church, McKenzie. Burial will follow at Pilgrims Rest Cemetery, McKenzie, TN. Visitation will be Thursday, May 23, 2013 at 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home, and Monday visitation will be at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m and 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. at the church. Mr. Moore died Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at Jackson General Hospital. He was born February 15, 1937 to Willie Paul and Gyrene Baker Moore. He was a self-employed logger and farmer and also a member and Deacon of Liberty Hill Baptist Church, McKenzie. He was preceded in death by his sister, Marcelle Davison and his brother, Junior Moore. He is survived by his wife, Mary Jean Moore of McKenzie; one son, Larry (Melissa) Moore of McKenzie and two grandsons, Colton (Cari Jean) Moore and Kyle Moore.
