Vance Eaton

MCKENZIE, TN Funeral Services for Vance Eaton, 86, will be Saturday, June 1, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at the Cedar Avenue Chapel of Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Concord Cemetery, McKenzie, TN. Visitation will be Friday, May 31, 2013 at 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home, and visitation Saturday will begin at, 11:30 a.m. until service time. Mr. Eaton died Wednesday May 29, 2013 at McKenzie Regional Hospital. He was born March 30, 1927 to Robert and Florence Thurmond Eaton. He was a farmer and also a member of Liberty Hill Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter Mary Melton; one sister, Flossie Cooper and four brothers, Edison Eaton, Chester Eaton, Wilburn Eaton and Sherman Eaton. He is survived by his wife of sixty-three years, Irene Ham Eaton of McKenzie, two daughters, Darla (Mike) Hicks of Chesapeake Bay, VA and Melissa (Larry) Moore of McKenzie; five sons, Larry (Betty) Eaton of McKenzie, Ronnie (Debbie) Eaton of Jackson, TN, Joey (Jhanettia) Eaton of McKenzie, Ricky Eaton of McKenzie and Timothy (Michelle) Eaton of McKenzie,TN; fifteen grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
