Jeffie Mae Stafford

TREZEVANT, TN Funeral Services for Jeffie Mae Stafford, 79, will be Thursday, June 13, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Brummitt Funeral Home Trezevant. Burial will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Greenfield, TN. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at 5:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home, and visitation on Thursday will begin at 10:00 a.m. until service time. Mrs. Stafford died Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at her residence. She was born May 23, 1934 to Charlie and Nena Argo Hames. She was a retired seamstress, a homemaker and also a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Missionary Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty years Joe N. Stafford; four sisters, Elva Hames, Rodella Downing, Essie Strickland and Eunice Barnes; and four brothers, Ira Hames, Ranzo Hames, Bernard Hames and James Hames. She is survived by two daughters, Carolyn Barker and Tammy (Mark) Stenberg all of Trezevant; two sons, Brent Stafford of McLemoresville and Tony (Angie) Stafford of Trezevant; a son-in-law, Jimmy Barker; two sisters, Cora Walker of Cedar Grove and Esther Allen of Jackson,TN twelve grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
