Dateline: McKenzie, TN Services for Dorothy Carolyn Coleman, 70, will be held Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at 11:00 am at Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home with Brother Dennis Trull officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, June 17, 2013 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm and Tuesday, June 18, 2013 from 9:00 am until service time. Mrs. Coleman, a homemaker, died Friday, June 14, 2013 at her residence. She was born on December 12, 1942 in Gleason, TN to Voil Moses and Dorothy Virginia Ray Childress. She was a member of McKenzie First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by a daughter Jennifer Coleman in 2010 and her father. Survivors include her husband of 52 years Dennis M. Coleman of McKenzie, a daughter Lisa Coleman of California, a son Christopher Coleman of Paris, TN, her mother Dorothy Childress of McKenzie, two sisters Nancy Blaylock of Trezevant, TN, Sherry Morris of Martin, TN, and four grandchildren.
