Dateline: McKenzie, TN Services for Kenneth "Ken" Evan Davis, Jr., 69, was held Friday, June 28, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home with Bro. Kenny Carr and Bro. Paul Conquest officiating. Interment followed at Carroll Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 27, 2013 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm and Friday, June 28, 2013 from 12 noon until service time. Mr. Davis, a retired employee of the former Fomax Company in Milan, TN, died Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at Milan General Hospital. He was born on April 12, 1944 in Hot Springs, Arkansas to Kenneth Evan and Lucille McCulley Davis. He was a member of Long Heights Baptist Church in McKenzie, he was also a member and assistant teacher of the Adult Bible Class I Sunday School, a member of the Pastor Prayer Partner Ministry both at Long Heights Baptist Church, he was a solo singer of southern gospel music singing at church and nursing homes, and he was a graduate of the Arkansas Polytechnic College at Russellville, Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his father Kenneth E. Davis, Sr. and his mother Lucille Davis Lovell. Survivors include his wife of 19 years Linda McCaslin Davis of McKenzie, a daughter Karen (Brian) Hill of Gibson, TN, a brother Al Lovell of Benton, AR, an uncle Clyde (Sue) McCulley of Portland, Maine and two grandsons Brandon and Bruce Hill both of Gibson, TN.
