Thelma Irene Sexton

Dateline: McKenzie, TN Graveside funeral services for Thelma Irene Sexton, 94, will be held Monday, July 22, 2013 at 10:00 AM at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. There will be no visitation for Mrs. Sexton. Mrs. Sexton, a homemaker and former Garment Factory employee at Wilker Brothers Pajama Factory, died Friday, July 19, 2013 at Regional Hospital of Jackson. She was born on August 7, 1918 in McKenzie, Tennessee to Edgar Richard and Mallie Elizabeth Brewer Moore. She was a member of Enon Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Julian Sexton, two sisters Louise Swearingen and Agnes Iown Townes. Survivors include her son David Sexton of McKenzie, TN, a brother Frank Moore of McKenzie, TN, and several nieces and nephews. Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
