Dateline: McKenzie, TN Memorial funeral services for Robert "Skunk" Presson, 71, will be held Thursday, August 8, 2013 at 12 noon at Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home with Clarence Barham, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow at Caledonia Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 8, 2013 from 10:30 am until service time. Mr. Presson, a retired superintendent for Ford Motor Company in Lorain, Ohio, died Monday, August 5, 2013 at his residence in McKenzie. He was born on October 15, 1941 in Henry, Tennessee to Lloyd and Ruby Throgmorton Presson. He was a member of Lakeview Baptist Church in Vermilion, Ohio, a Mason and member of the ELY Lodge No. 0424, a Lifetime member of Am Vets Post 22, a founding member of the Country Sweet Things Band, loved gardening, fishing, the outdoors and cooking for family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife of 52 years Judy Rigsby Presson of McKenzie, two daughters Leisa (Butch) Bowling of McKenzie, Laura (Dan) Roth of Vermilion, Ohio, two sisters Katherine (James) Jackson of Newnan, Georgia, Margaret Ann (Frank) Morgan of McKenzie, a brother Charles (Betty) Presson of Vermilion, Ohio, three grandchildren Jacki Bowling of McKenzie, Mallory Roth and Chloe' Roth both of Vermilion, Ohio. The family has asked to please consider in lieu of flowers that memorials may be made to the Caledonia Cemetery Fund c/o Wayford Washburn, Jr. 1079 Stonewall North McKenzie, TN 38201.
