Funeral Services for Billy Watkins will be, Friday, August 30, 2013 at 2:00 p.m.at the Cedar Avenue Chapel of Brummitt - McKenzie Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, McKenzie, TN. Visitation will be Thursday, August 29, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. and on Friday, 10:00 a.m. until service time. Mr. Watkins died August 26, 2013 at Select Specialty Hospital at St. Francis, Memphis, TN. He was born October 1, 1932 in Dothan, AL to Carl and Clifford Martin Watkins. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church, and was also a Korean War Army veteran. He retired from Gaines MFG as a supervisor and he also retired from Rural King as a clerk. He was preceded in death by his parents and five brothers, Reginald Watkins, Cecil Watkins, Carl Watkins, Hubert Watkins and his twin, Bobby Watkins. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Swafford Watkins of McKenzie; a daughter, Lisa Renee Spurlock of Medina; one son Gary Wayne (Emily) Watkins of Arlington, TX and five grandchildren, Andrew Watkins, Kyle Watkins, Chad Watkins, Sophie Spurlock and Emma Spurlock.
