Martha M. Ross

Dateline: McKenzie, TN Services for Martha M. Ross, 82, will be held Sunday, September 22, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home with Elder Ed Long officiating. Interment will follow at Tyson Cemetery in Henry County. The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 21, 2013 from 4:30 until 8:00 and Sunday, September 22, 2013 from 12:00 until service time. Mrs. Ross, a homemaker and farmer's wife, died Friday, September 20, 2013 at Weakley County Nursing Home. She was born on July 5, 1931 in Pillowville, TN to Hebert and Vera Wiseman Wray. She was a member of Union Primitive Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son Stanley Ross, two sisters Frances King, Lottie Barksdale, and a brother Dudley Wray. Survivors include her husband Willard Ross of McKenzie, a daughter Teresa (Billy) Phelps of Gleason, TN, four grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
