Joel Gordon Traywick

Dateline: McKenzie, TN Services for Joel Gordon Traywick, 83, will be held Saturday, September 28, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home with Bro. Gene Price officiating. Interment will follow at Caledonia Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, September 27, 2013 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm and Saturday, September 28, 2013 from 12 Noon until service time. Mr. Traywick, a farmer and mechanic, died Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at McKenzie Regional Hospital. He was born on November 1, 1929 in Rosser, Tennessee to Thomas Ila and Margaret Wootsen Mallard Traywick. He was a member of Caledonia Missionary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Hellon Marceal Glisson Traywick and two brothers Charles Lindbergh Traywick, Thomas Ila Traywick. Survivors include two daughters Mary (Greg) Klopfenstein of McKenzie, Patricia Diane (Woody) Kinman of Henry, a son Joel David (Sharon) Traywick of Tunnel Hill, GA, two sisters Margaret Berlin of Gallatin, TN, Mildred Stokes, eight grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren .
