Dateline: Lavinia, TN Services for Christopher Shane Garner, 43, will be held Sunday, September 29, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral with Kevin Alexander officiating. Interment will follow at Palmersville Cemetery near Palmersville, TN. The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 29, 2013 from 11:00 am until service time. Mr. Garner, a construction worker, died Wednesday, September 25, 2013. He was born on January 9, 1970 in Martin, TN to Cecil Thomas Garner and Barbara Jane Scott Garner Bush. He was preceded in death by a sister Tami Kay Oliver, his grandparents Earl and Estell Garner and Clayton and Evelyn Scott, and his step father James Bush. Survivors include his wife Teresa Diane Ward Garner of Lavinia, a daughter Brittany Marie Ward of Lavinia, four sons James Derrick Garner of Trezevant, Zachary Thomas Garner of Dresden, Blake Ryan Garner and Brandon Robert True both of Lavinia, his mother Barbara Bush of Trezevant, his father and step mother Cecil and Lynda Garner of Palmersville two sisters Kim (Larry) Brown of Cottage Grove, TN, Natasha (William) Mellon of Puryear, TN, and two grandchildren Myleigh Garner and Nevaeh Garner .
