MCKENZIE,TN Funeral Services for Mary Ann Smith will be Friday, October 18, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Cedar Avenue Chapel of Brummitt - McKenzie Funeral Home. Burial will follow at New Bethel Cemetery, Cedar Grove, TN. Visitation will be Thursday, October 17, 2013 at 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. and Friday, 10:00 a.m. until service time. Ms. Smith, retired cook for Barnett's Restaurant and the Catfish Restaurant, died October 16, 2013, at her residence. She was born, February 19, 1940 to James Perry Hawkins and Eva Inez Vinson Hawkins. She is survived by three daughters, Melody Simpson of McKenzie, Lisa Futrell of Huntingdon,TN and Deborah (Norman) Pittman of Jackson; one sister, Connie (Roger) Birdwell of Cedar Grove; four brothers, Don (Rhonda) Hawkins of McKenzie, Ralph (Reba) Hawkins of McKenzie, Ronnie (Melissa) Hawkins of Milan, Tommy (Gin) Hawkins of Henry; three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
