David George Mort

Funeral Services for David George Mort will be Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Cedar Avenue Chapel of Brummitt - McKenzie Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, McKenzie, TN. Visitation will be Monday, October 21, 2013 at 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday, 10:00 a.m. until service time. Mr. Mort, a retired machinist that worked in Setup and service for Rexam in the beverage industry died October 16, 2013. He was born, January 28, 1951 to George and Eloise Gonzalez Mort. He was preceded in death by his son, Buddy Herron; two sisters, Denise Mort and Drewanne Mort and two brothers, Dennis Mort and Daniel Mort. He is survived by his wife, Patricia daughter, Deana (Jeff) Weleba of Victorville, CA; three sons, Pete(Melody) Mort of McKenzie, Bobby(Christie) Mort of McKenzie and Scott(Brandy) Herron of Phoenix, AZ; three brothers, Donald Baker of Chicago, IL, Dean Mort of Chicago, IL and Dwayne(Cindy) Mort of AL; seventeen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
