Sherry Tanaka

Memorial services for Sherry Ann Tanaka will be Monday, October 28, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. Visitation will begin on Monday, 1:00 p.m. until service time. Ms. Tanaka, a homemaker, died October 25, 2013. She was born, June 23, 1961 to James Earl Riggs and Nancy Hutchens Grooms. She was a member of Long Heights Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Marty Grooms. She is survived by her daughter, Erin (Josh) Black - McKenzie; a son, Adam (Stephanie) Tanaka of Nashville; one sister, Mary (Donald) Mitchell of Bruceton; six brothers, Hershel Riggs of Bruceton, Robert (Kim) Riggs of Jackson, Billy Riggs of Bruceton, David (Nancy) Riggs of Bruceton, Stan (Cyndi) Riggs of McKenzie and Richard Grooms of Bruceton; step-mother, Hester Riggs of McKenzie and three grandchildren.
