MCKENZIE, TN Funeral Services for Marjorie A. Matlock will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, January 23, 2014 at the Cedar Avenue Chapel of Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home, with Reverend Tony Janner officiating. Burial will follow at Mt Olivet Cemetery, McKenzie, TN. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 22, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home and visitation on Thursday will begin at 1:00 p.m. until service time. Mrs. Matlock, a clerk, homemaker and member of McKenzie Cumberland Presbyterian Church, died January 19, 2014 at her residence. She was born April 22, 1935, in Memphis, TN to Letha Ira and Margaret T. Kalafut Sherwood. She is survived by her husband Clifford B. Matlock of McKenzie; one son, Steven Matlock of McKenzie; two sisters, Peggy Diane (James) Wilson of Henry, TN, Carol Jean (Dave) Tindell of Orting, WA; two brothers, James Larry (Kim) Sherwood of Union City, TN and Robert Ira Sherwood of Amarillo, TX; one granddaughter, Jennifer Perkins and two great-grandsons, Jason Wafford and Joshua Wafford.
