MCKENZIE, TN A Memorial Service for Kathy Jane Patterson will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at the Cedar Avenue Chapel of Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home. Visitation will be Wednesday, at 12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Patterson, Church Secretary for the First United Methodist Church, died February 2, 2014 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. She was born, April 2, 1957 in McKenzie, TN to Ernestine and James Henry Gregg. She is survived by her husband of thirty-four years, Jimmy L. Patterson; her daughter, Brandy Denise Love and her step-daughter Robin Peoples; two sisters, Linda (Keith) Coleman and Barbara (William) Garnett; one brother Kenneth (Connie) Gregg; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. In Lieu of flowers the family has asked that memorials be made to McKenzie First Methodist Church.
