James Willard Ross

McKENZIE, TN Funeral Services for James Willard Ross will be 3:00 p.m., Sunday, March 9, 2014, at Union Primitive Baptist Church with Elder Ed Long officiating. Burial will follow at Tyson Cemetery, McKenzie. The family will receive friends Saturday, March 8, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home and on Sunday visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the church. Mr. Ross, 88, a farmer and member of Union Primitive Baptist Church, died Friday, March 7, 2014 at Henry County Medical Center. He was born September 18, 1925, in Como, TN to Clarence and Asenath Owen Ross. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Martha Wray Ross, son Stanley Ross, four brothers Eugene Ross, Elvin Ross, Earl Ross and Burnice Ross He is survived by his daughter Teresa (Billy) Phelps of Gleason, sister Ruth Owen, brothers Howard Ross and Paul Ross, four grandchildren Amy Hampton, Jennifer (Ed) Long, April (Patrick) Corbin, Anna (Jon) Eaton and nine great-grandchildren
