McKENZIE, TN Funeral Services for Retha Mae Nelson will be 3:30 p.m., Tuesday, March 11, 2014, at the Cedar Avenue Chapel of Brummitt- McKenzie Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Tuesday, March 11, 2014 from 1:00 p.m. until service time. Mrs. Nelson, 88, a factory employee for Chrysler, Detroit, MI and member of Grace Baptist Church, died Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at Henry County Medical Center. She was born February 28 1926, in Benton Co., TN to Homer Vaughn and Ruby Mae Hollingsworth Vaughn Bush. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands Shelton Barham and R. L. Nelson, three sisters Roverta Bush, Annie Toombs and Martha Barton and five brothers, Flossie Bush, Vernard Bush, Floyd Bush, William Gene Bush and Neal Vaughn. She is survived by a sister Elber Ruth Ellis of McKenzie and several nieces and nephews.
