Doyle Edward Connell

Dateline: Milan, TN formerly of McKenzie Services for Doyle Edward Connell, 76, will be held Saturday, March 15, 2014 at 1:00 pm at Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home with Rev. Kevin Conrad officiating. Interment will follow at Seminary Cemetery near Pillowville, TN. The family will receive friends on Friday, March 14, 2014 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm and Saturday, March 15, 2014 from 11:00 am until service time. Mr. Connell, a sales representative for Hardin-Sysco Foods, died Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at NHC Healthcare in Milan. He was born on February 13, 1938 in Pillowville, TN to Raymond and Mary Burroughs Connell. He was a member of Milan First United Methodist. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Marlin Connell. Survivors include his wife of 18 years Lela Brown Connell of Milan, TN, a daughter Patty (Mike) Wilson of McKenzie, TN, a son Michael Connell of McKenzie, a brother Charles (Eirnes) Connell of Memphis and five grandchildren.
