Dateline: McKenzie, TN Services for Joe Edward Beasley, 74, will be held Sunday, April 13, 2014 at 5:00 pm at Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home with Brother Kenny Carr officiating. Interment will follow at Shiloh Methodist Church Cemetery near Lavinia, TN at 11:00 am on Monday April 14, 2014. The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 13, 2014 from 2:00 pm until service time. Mr. Beasley, a retired Railroad Locomotive Engineer for the former L & N Railroad, later known as the Seaboard Lines Railroad to eventually be CSX Transportation, died Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. He was born on April 3, 1940 in Parsons, Tennessee to Lloyd and Mary Murry Beasley. He attended Long Heights Baptist Church in McKenzie and was a graduate of the Atwood High School. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife Dana Rollins Beasley of McKenzie, two daughters Tonya (Kyle) Barrier of Springfield, MO, Kayla (Jeff) Wills of Cincinnati, OH, a son Jimmy (Jennifer) Beasley of Oakland, TN, a brother J.N. (Sybil) Beasley of Helena, AR, and nine grandchildren: Andrew Barrier, Ryan Barrier, Eric Barrier, Zach Wills, Katie Wills, Josiah Beasley, Esther Beasley, Abbigail Beasley and Jonah Beasley.
