Funeral Services for Horace Ray Coleman will be, Wednesday April 30, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. at Brummitt Funeral Home Trezevant. Burial will follow at Union Academy Cemetery, McKenzie, TN. The family will receive friends Tuesday, April 29, 2014 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday, 12:00 p.m. until service time. Mr. Coleman, 89, a farmer and WW II Veteran, died Sunday, April 27, 2014 at Huntingdon Health & Rehab. He was born in McKenzie December 11, 1924 to Jamie Samuel and Martha Barker Coleman. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Helen Marie Townsend Coleman, two sisters Elizabeth Kelly and Iris Traywick and two brothers Jerry Coleman and Billy Coleman. He is survived by two daughters Sherrie Garey of Jackson and Karen (Tommy) Garey of Cedar Grove, a son Sam (Peggie) Coleman of Azel, TX, a sister Willodean Carter of Huntingdon, a brother Gordon Coleman of McKenzie, Five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
