Dateline: Atwood, TN Services for Shirley Ann Thomas, 72, will be held Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at 1:00 pm at Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home in McKenzie with Brother Darrell Pollock officiating. Interment will follow at Pisgah Cemetery in Atwood. The family will receive friends on Monday, May 12, 2014 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm and Tuesday, May 13, 2014 from 11:00 am until service time. Mrs. Thomas, a homemaker, died Thursday, May 8, 2014 at her residence. She was born on December 4, 1941 in Friendship, TN to Cleo and Margie Spry Holland. She preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her husband of 10 years Allen Thomas of Atwood, TN, a daughter Brianna Vermillion of McKenzie, a step daughter Jessica Lee of Albany, MS, a son Anthony Warmath of Huntingdon, a step son Mark Thomas of Millington, TN, six grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
