Joyce Scarbrough McBride

MCKENZIE, TN Services for Joyce Scarbrough McBride, 88, will be held Sunday, June 22, 2014 at 2:00 pm at Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home with Reverend Doctor Dennis Trull and Reverend Jason Jones officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 21, 2014 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the funeral home, Sunday, June 22, 2014 from 11:00 am until service time. Mrs. McBride, a retired beautician, died Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at McKenzie Heath Care Center. She was born on March 3, 1926 in Pillowville, TN to Edgar and Ethel Burke Scarbrough. She was a member of McKenzie First United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Everett McBride, her son Donald McBride, grandson Jacob McBride, three sisters Bonnie Lou Connell, Durell Dotson and Verna Montgomery , and brother Winton Scarbrough Survivors include two sons Kenny (Becky) McBride and Tim (Kari) McBride and two grandsons: Matt McBride and Will McBride both of McKenzie.
