Ruby Birmingham Fowler

Dateline: McKenzie, TN Services for Mrs. Ruby Carol Fowler, 79, will be held Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at 2:00 pm at Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home with Brother Wray Forrest officiating. Interment will follow at Enon Cemetery near McKenzie. The family will receive friends on Monday, June 23, 2014 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm and Tuesday, June 24, 2014 from 11:00 am until service time. Mrs. Fowler, a retired school and hospital cafeteria employee, died Saturday morning at her residence, June 21, 2014. She was born on November 27, 1934 in McKenzie, TN to Bob and Virginia Wiseman Birmingham. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 50 years Alvis Ray Fowler who died in 2002. Survivors include two daughters Judy Smiley Rye and her husband Danny Rye and Jill Baker Phelps and her husband Tony Phelps all of McKenzie, a brother Ted Birmingham of McKenzie, a special friend Milton Berry of McKenzie, four grandchildren: Scott Smiley of Alva Oklahoma, Kathleen Smiley of McKenzie, Joshua Baker of McKenzie, and Jacob Baker of Martin, TN.
