Eldon Eugene Hunt

Dateline: McKenzie, TN A memorial service for Eldon Eugene Hunt, 85, will be held Thursday, August 7, 2014 at 7:00 pm at Long Heights Baptist Church with Brother Kenny Carr officiating. Cremation was chosen. The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 7, 2014 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Long Heights Baptist Church. Mr. Hunt, a crane operator for Gray's Crane and Rigging in Portland, Oregon, died Monday, August 4, 2014 at the Jackson Madison County General Hospital. He was born on May 6, 1929 in Trenton, Nebraska to Alvin Henry and Sarah Mabel Veneman Hunt. He was a member of Long Heights Baptist Church and a member of the Adult Men's Sunday School Class. Survivors include two daughters Julie Travis of Kingman, Arizona, Tamara (Joe) Hollowell of McKenzie, two sons William (Alonda) Hunt of Fredericksburg, Texas, James (Kathy) Hunt of Portland, Oregon, a sister Donna Simon, nine grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
