MCKENZIE, TN Funeral services for Robert Darrell McCadams, 62, will be held Saturday, August 9, 2014 at 5:00 p.m. at the Cedar Avenue Chapel of Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home with burial to follow in Carroll Memorial Gardens. Reverend George Nolen is officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, August 9, 2014 from 12:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. McCadams, a semi-retired maintenance man for Tosh Farms, Post Commander for VFW Post #4939, and Air Force Veteran died Wednesday, August 6, 2014 at his residence. He was born on January 12, 1952 in McKenzie, TN to Rueben E. and Retha Van Cleave McCadams. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his daughter Amber (Frank) McCadams Davis of Lexington, son Lucas McCadams of McKenzie, four brothers Ronnie (Linda) McCadams of Milan, Michael Van (Sue) McCadams of McKenzie, Hansel ( Teresa) McCadams and Tansel (Carmi) all of Paris, TN and five grandchildren. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that memorials be sent to VFW Post 4939 in McKenzie Christmas Fund for the Children.
