Edith Van Nostrand

MCKENZIE, TN Funeral services for Edith Elizabeth Van Nostrand, 99, will be held Saturday, August 9, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at McKenzie First United Methodist Church with burial to follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Reverend Jason Jones is officiating. Visitation will be Friday, August 8, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home and on Saturday, 9:00 a.m. until service time at the church. Mrs. Van Nostrand, owner of Long Island Boat Shows Inc and member of McKenzie First United Methodist Church died Thursday, August 7, 2014 at her residence. She was born on February 2, 1915, in Brooklyn, NY to Henry and Edith Wirths Agricola. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Vernon Van Nostrand, sister Myra Tafuro and brother Harry Argicola. Survivors include two nieces Nancy (David) Luik of Lake Orion, Michigan and Jean Marie (Ed) Denk of Coral Springs, FL, two nephews Rick (Mary) Tafuro of Ocean Beach, NY and Don (Denise) Agricola of Henry and several great-nieces and nephews.
