Robert Theron Ervin

MCKENZIE, TN Funeral services for Robert Theron Ervin, Jr., 82, will be Thursday, August 14, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the Cedar Avenue Chapel of Brummitt - McKenzie Funeral Home with burial to follow in Caledonia Cemetery. Brother James Hazelwood and Bro Richard Allen will officiate. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 13, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. and Thursday 10:00 a.m. until service time. Mr. Ervin was a welder for General Motors Lansing, MI, Navy Veteran, member of Enon Baptist Church, VFW, American Legion, and Caledonia Masonic Lodge #96. Mr. Ervin died Monday, August 11, 2014 at his residence. He was born on June 14, 1932, in Weakley Co, TN to Acie and Vessie Gurley Ervin. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Teresa Tubbs, sisters Dorothy Morgan and Mildred Coleman and two step-sons Michael Bouldin and Bobby Bouldin. Survivors include his wife Jean Ervin of McKenzie, son Wayne Ervin of Lansing, MI, step-son Ray(Ann)Bouldin of Linden, TN, two step-daughters Teresa (Kenny) Wilson and Brenda (Carey) Franklin all of McKenzie, two sisters Donna Packer of Lansing, MI and Hazel Jackson of Hohenwald,TN , three grandchildren, twelve step-grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and twelve step-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
