Private Graveside services for Bennie Wendell Nanney, 89, will be Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at Carroll Memorial Gardens. Mr. Nanney a retired TV repairman, died Sunday, August 31, 2014 at Oak Manor Health Care Center. He was born October 14, 1924, in McKenzie, TN to Lendolph and Sena Lela Chandler Nanney. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of fifty years Virginia Terry Nanney, his sister Salia Velma and two brothers Lois Nanney and Harry Lee Nanney. Survivors include three daughters Jean (Larry) Baucum of Paris, Bonnie (John) Brown of McKenzie and Shirley (Larry Joe) Spann of Clermont, FL, one son James Wendell Nanney of Memphis, six grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
