MCKENZIE, TN Funeral Services for Euel Waylon Cox, 81, will be Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Cedar Avenue Chapel of Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home. Burial will be at Mt Olivet Cemetery, McKenzie, TN., Reverend Alan Trull & Revered Latricia Trull will officiate. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 30, 2014, 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday, 11:00 a.m. -until service time. Mr. Cox, owner of Central Refrigeration for fifty years, a member of Blooming Grove Methodist Church, and a Korean War Army Veteran, died September 29, 2014 at his residence. He was born February 28, 1933 in Middleton, TN to the late Connie and Pauline Davis Cox. Survivors include his wife of fifty-eight years Sylvia Russell Cox, two sons David Cox of McKenzie and Mark (Susan) Cox of McKenzie, two brothers Carlos(Mary) Cox and Leonard "Pete" (Lou) Cox all of Middleton, TN, three sisters Faye(Marvin) Crumpton of Memphis, Pat(Jimmy) Hood of Memphis and Marie Howell of Middleton, TN, three grandchildren Zack (Morgan Jenks) Cox, Leah Cox and Derek (Delana) Cox and four great-grandchildren Payton Jenks, Hunter White, Kailey Cox and Lexie Cox.
