Funeral Services for Janie Montez Pratt, 96, will be Saturday, November 22, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Cedar Avenue Chapel of Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home. Visitation will be Saturday, November 22, 2014 10:00 a.m. - until service time. Reverend Dennis Trull will officiate and burial will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, McKenzie, TN. Mrs. Pratt was born February 26, 1918 in Wingo, KY to Whit and Cora Horn Blackburn. She is retired from Henry I. Siegel Trezevant, and a member of First Baptist Church McKenzie. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband William(Bill) Pratt, son Sherrill Pratt, two sisters Maurine Crocker and Eugenia Blackburn, three brothers Herbert Blackburn, Hubert Blackburn and James Blackburn and grandson Ken Carrell. Survivors include her daughter Jane (Kenny) Carrell of McKenzie, daughter-in-law Jane Pratt of McKenzie, sister Carolyn ( Leon) Purvis of McKenzie, six grandchildren Van (Chris) Carrell Sadler, Brian (Jennifer) Pratt, Lisa Ellis, Ginger (Billy) Phifer and Becky Riggs, fourteen great-grandchildren Courtney Carrell, Jacob Sadler, Janna Pratt, Savannah Pratt, Austin Pratt, Autumn Pratt, Cory(Sam) Ellis, Brittany (Rusty) Shands, Jonathan (Heather) Wheat, Samantha Wheat, Kaitlin Phifer, Celinas Phifer, Nicholas Riggs and Ashley Riggs and six great-great grandchildren.
