James Lewis "Homer" Foster

Dateline: Huntingdon, TN Services for James Lewis "Homer" Foster, 72, will be held Saturday, December 27, 2014 at 11:00 am at Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home with Brothers Dan Winkler and Roger Graham officiating. Interment will follow at Mixie Baptist Church Cemetery between Huntingdon and Paris on Highway 77. The family will receive friends on Friday, December 26, 2014 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm and Saturday from 9:00 am until service time. He was born on September 7, 1942 in McKenzie. Tennessee, to Chester Lewis and Lena Mae Presson Foster. He was a member of the Huntingdon Church of Christ, he served with the US Army from 1964-1966, he previously worked at ITT in Milan, worked for Atlantic Home in Henry for 31 years and most recently was a school bus driver for the Carroll County Schools He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter Heather Turman, a son Chad Turman and a brother Larry "Chick" Foster. Survivors include his wife of 32 years Patti Bishop of Huntingdon, two daughters Lindsay Liddle and Jennifer (Josh) Johnson, a son Scott Turman all of Huntingdon, TN, a sister Brenda Moss of McKenzie, TN, two brothers Bobby (Cherly) Foster of McKenzie, Jerry (Pat) Foster of Martin, TN, and grandchildren: Byron Wilson, Tyler and McKalee Graham, Everly and Wakely Johnson, James Dale Turman, Gracie Turman and Russell Turman Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
