George Lowery

TREZEVANT, TN Funeral Services for George Alford Lowery will be Thursday, January 15, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Pleasant Green Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Visitation will begin Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at 5:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m. at Brummitt Funeral Home - Trezevant and visitation on Thursday will be at the church from 12:00 p.m. until service time. Mr. Lowery, 86, retired farmer worked at ITT and Windsor in Milan, TN. He was a member of Pleasant Green Cumberland Presbyterian Church for over 60 years and a member of Pleasant Green Masonic Lodge. He was preceded in death by his parents Lee and Gracie Foren Lowery, two brothers Fred Lowery and Sylvan Lowery, a sister Edna Sheppard and a granddaughter Melanie Rosa. He is survived by three sons, Danny (Kathy) Lowery of Orlando, FL, Jack (Linda) Lowery of Milan and Doug (Teresa) Lowery of Trezevant, a sister Frances Arnold of Trezevant and a brother Johnny Lowery of Trenton, and six grandchildren David Lowery, Jeremy Lowery, Travis Lowery, Stacey (Daniel) Byrd, Christina (Eric) Cathers, Breonia Darling, fourteen great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
