Funeral Services for Mrs. Sue Lawrence will be Saturday, January 31, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Brummitt- McKenzie Funeral Home. Burial will be at Everett's Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, January 30, 2015 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. and Saturday morning 9:30 a.m. until service time. Mrs. Lawrence, 86, died Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. She was a homemaker and a member of Bethel Baptist Church, McKenzie. Mrs. Lawrence was born October 12, 1928 to Tilman and Elvie Blaylock Matheny. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband RB Lawrence, son Randy Lawrence, two brothers Dale Matheny and JT Matheny and a grandchild. She is survived by a son Ken (Linda) Lawrence of McKenzie, sister Iris Stinson of Milan, three grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
