Alta Louise Arnold Scott Obituary Alta L. Scott Services for Alta Louise Arnold Scott, 86, who died February 18th 2015 at McKenzie Health Care Center will begin at 2:00 pm on Sunday, February 22nd 2015 at Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home with Brother Darrell Pollock officiating. Burial will follow at Carroll Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Saturday, February 21, 2015 from 5:00 pm till 8:00 pm and Sunday February 22, 2015 from 12 noon till service time at Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home. Mrs. Scott was born September 10, 1928 near Chesterfield, Henderson Co., TN to Ora Lee Arnold and Lula Frances Hayes Arnold. She married the late Floyd R. Scott in 1946 and they later moved with their family to the Blooming Grove-Greenfield Hwy Community in 1955. Mrs. Scott began working for Gaines Manufacturing in 1959 and retired from there in 1996. She is preceded in death by her husband, Floyd R. Scott, a brother, William Lee Arnold, a sister, Ruth Arnold Saydak. Survivors include one sister, Zula Reynolds of McKenzie, four children: Linda (Ed) Miller of Spring Creek, TN, Alma Scott of McKenzie, Ray Scott of McKenzie and Glen (Debbie) Scott of Pace, Fla. Also surviving are nine grandchildren: Melissa Floyd (Otis) Rowe, Kenneth Deaton, Angela Scott (Glenn) Fowler, DezaRae Scott (Rodney) Gilmer, Kristen Scott (Brad) Dienst, Jennifer Bridges, Samantha, Mallory and Hannah Scott; five great-grandchildren: Keith, Charles and Thomas Dunning, Jacob and Macy Gilmer, and four great-great grandchildren. Pallbearers to serve will be: Kenneth Deaton, Keith Dunning, Thomas Dunning, Otis Rowe, Rodney Gilmer, and Jacob Gilmer.
