Funeral Services for William Thomas (Bill) McClure will be Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Cedar Avenue Chapel of Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home. Burial will be at New Hope Presbyterian Cemetery, McKenzie,TN. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 24, 2015, at 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. McClure, 89, died February 18, 2015 at Gallatin Health Care Center, Gallatin, TN. He is a retired custodian in the Humphreys County School System and a WW II Navy veteran, was born April 6, 1925 in McKenzie, TN to John Jefferson and Lula Stafford McClure. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Virginia Helen Ivey McClure, two sisters Maureen Hopper and Frances Foster, and four brothers Charles, Gene, Kenneth, and Jack McClure. He is survived by daughter Pam Bohannon (Wayne) Thompson of Portland, TN, two sons John (Susie) McClure of Wichita Falls, TX and Joel McClure of Hopkinsville, KY, nine grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
