James Robert Maxwell, III

Dateline: McKenzie, TN Services for James "Jimmy" Robert Maxwell III, 66, will be held Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at 1:00 pm at Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home with Brother Jim Roberts and Brother Dennis Trull officiating. Interment will follow at Whitfield-Pavatt Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, March 9, 2015 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm and Tuesday, March 10, 2015 from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm. Mr. Maxwell, a maintance employee at the Milan Arsenal Ammunition Plant, died Sunday morning, March 8, 2015 at his residence. He was born on July 14, 1948 in Wayne County, MI. to James Robert Maxwell, Jr and Jean Dorothy Gibbs Maxwell. He was a member of McKenzie Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife of 47 years with them marrying on June 10, 1967 Mattie Ann Verner Maxwell, two daughters Stacy (Edward) Birdwell of McKenzie, TN, Stephine (Alan) Gooch of Pangburn, AR, two sons James Steven (Tammy) Maxwell of McKenzie, TN, Shannon (Kellie) Maxwell of Searcy, AR, 11 grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, one sister Laurel "Cookie"(Ricky) Carey of Westport, TN and one brother Ronnie Maxwell of McKenzie, TN.
