Brother Kenneth Wade Roberts

Dateline: Humboldt, TN Memorial funeral services for Brother Kenneth Wade Roberts, 77, will be held Sunday, May 3, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Cairo Baptist Church, 388 Lyons Road, near Alamo, TN. Cremation was chosen by the family. The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 3, 2015 from 1:00 pm until service time at the church. Brother Roberts, a Southern Baptist Minister for over 45 years pastoring churches in TN, KY, GA, and MO, died Thursday, April 30, 2015 at Regional Hospital One in Memphis. He was born on September 1, 1937 in Martin, TN to Owen and Gazelle Phillips Roberts. He graduated from Martin High School in 1955 and Clear Creek Baptist Bible College in Pineville, KY in 1975. He then went on to attend Union University Seminary Extended Courses of New Orleans Seminary in 1978. Survivors include his wife of 57 years Marlene Wilson Roberts of Humboldt, two daughters Brenda Roberts of Huntingdon, TN, and Anna Roberts of Martin, TN.
