Dateline: McKenzie, TN formerly of Humboldt, TN Services for Edna Mae Logan, 89, will be held Monday, May 4, 2015 at 3:00 pm at Bethel Missionary Baptist Church with Brother James Hazlewood officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 3, 2015 from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm and Monday, May 4, 2015 from 1:00 pm until departure for the church. Mrs. Logan, a factory employee for Eaton Axle in Humboldt, TN, died Friday, May 1, 2015 at her residence. She was born on May 15, 1925 in Trenton, TN to William Hezekiah and Mary Ann Baker. She was a member of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in McKenzie. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 60 years Ralph "Friday" Logan who died in 2006, her siblings: Mildred Flowers, Mary Jane Wilson, Charles Baker, William "Jr." Baker, Billy Baker and James Baker. Survivors include her son Larry J. (Andria Maria) Logan of McKenzie, five grandchildren: Larry Logan, II, Justin Logan, Lauren Logan, Toni Marie McGowan, Benjamin Sapp, and six great grandchildren. Pallbearers to serve will be: Dennis Coleman, Ross Wimberly, Mike Wimberly, Patrick Steele, Jon McGowan, and Ben Sapp. Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
