Dateline: McKenzie, TN Funeral Mass for Joan Ann Brooks, 70, will be held Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at 10:00 am at Holy Family Catholic Church in Huntingdon, TN with Reverend Father Joey Kaump officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, June 1, 2015 from 5:00 pm until 7:30 pm with a Rosary starting at 7:30 pm at the funeral home. Mrs. Brooks, a retired sales clerk at Fred's Dollar Store in McKenzie and was in Quality Control at Cut-rite Wood Products in McKenzie, died Friday, May 29, 2015 at her residence. She was born on February 9, 1945 in Glen Falls, New York to Charles John and Grace Hunt Wheeler. She was a communicant at Holy Family Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her husband Wyatt Brooks of McKenzie, two sons Mike (Christie) Creyssels and Roger (Cyndi) Creyssels of McKenzie, four sisters Jeanette Lamare of Idaho, Jane Kral of Sana Rosa, CA, Jessie Wheeler of McKenzie, Barbara Perry of Paloma, CA, two brothers Charles John Wheeler, Jr., Billy Ingelheim of Maryland, seven grandchildren: Brandy Lynn Creyssels, Michael Justin Gulledge, Eric Hayes Cannon, Kristie Merrell, Drake Ashton Michael, Jeremy Wordlow, and Blake Andrew Michael; eight great grandchildren: Gracie Lynn Nobles, Johnathan Lee Nobles, Madison McCaskill, BreAnna Seymour, Quinten Gross, Jess Pace, Page Cannon, and Kallie Cannon. Pallbearers will be Blake Michael, Michael B. Creyssels, Roger Henry Creyssels, Sonny James Brooks, Kenny Ray Epperson, and Tanner Brooks. Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
