Mattie Lexine Anderson

Dateline: McKenzie, TN Services for Mattie Lexine Anderson, 88, will be held Sunday, May 31, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home with Brother Fred Morris officiating. Interment will follow at Everetts Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 31, 2015 from 11:00 am until service time. Mrs. Anderson, a sales clerk at Dollar General Store in McKenzie and a retired K-Mart employee, died Friday, May 29, 2015 at Jackson Regional Hospital in Jackson. She was born on January 31, 1927 in Obion County Tennessee to Lexie Hobson and Birdie Mai Lawson Heskett. She was a member of the Grace Baptist Church in McKenzie. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Nance (Andy) Jr. Anderson who died March 11, 1988, and her siblings: Lillie Ruth Crowell, Mary Kate Weaver, James Heskett, David Heskett, Laura Annette Heskett, Bill Heskett, and Margaret Russell. Survivors include two sisters Betsy Runions of Portage, Indiana and Linda Lyle of Dickson, TN, two brothers Marvin Heskett of Columbia, TN and Dicky Heskett of Dickson, TN.
