Dateline: LEXINGTON,TN Funeral Services for Sarah Ruth Owen will be Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at 11: 00 a.m. at the Cedar Avenue Chapel of Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home. Brother Randy Pate will officiate. Burial will be at Old Union Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Henry. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 9, 2015 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday 10:00 p.m. - until service time. Mrs. Owen, 84, died Saturday, June 6, 2015 at her residence. She was born February 10, 1931 in Gleason, TN to Henry and Asenath Owen Ross. She was a homemaker and a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign War Ladies Auxiliary Post #4105 and Lifetime Member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary # 444 both in Florissant, MO. Mrs. Owen is survived by her son Rick (Julie) Owen of Lexington, two brothers Howard (Shirley) Ross of Gleason and Paul (Sherry) Ross of Greenfield and two granddaughters Stephanie (Luke) Little and Rachel Owen. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Dallas R. Owen and five brothers Eugene Ross, Bernice Ross, Earl Ross, Howard Ross and Willard Ross.
