Dateline: MCKENZIE,TN Funeral Services for Rodney H. Chandler will be Monday, June 22, 2015 at 11: 00 a.m. at the Cedar Avenue Chapel of Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home. Brothers Tim Coleman and John Davis will officiate. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery, McKenzie, TN. Visitation will be Sunday, June 21, 2015 5:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. and Monday 9:30 a.m. - until service time. Mr. Chandler, 99, died Friday, June 19, 2015 at Henry County Medical Center. He was born November 12, 1915 in Carroll Co., TN to Amon and Ruth Chandler. He was a retired Owner/Operator of Chandler Music Co. and a member of Fairview Missionary Baptist where he served as Choir Director and a Deacon. Mr. Chandler is survived by a daughter Karen(Jackie) Allen of McKenzie, a son Gary (Wanda) Chandler of McKenzie, a sister Ivy(William) Smith of McKenzie, three grandchildren, Michael Chandler, Joel Allen and Jadrea ( Joseph) Romines and three great-granddaughters Juliet, Jocelyn and Jessamyn. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Jewel Chandler, daughter Gloria Kay Chandler, three sisters Covie Chandler, Rena Miller and Alice Kirksey and three brothers Alden Chandler, Wallace Chandler and Kenneth Chandler.
