Dateline: McKenzie, TN Services for Benjamin Franklin Elinor, 75, will be held Sunday, August 9, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home with Brother Bob Copeland and Brother Michael Spain officiating. Interment will follow at Pilgrims Rest Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 8, 2015 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm and Sunday, August 9, 2015 from 11:00 am until service time. Mr. Elinor, a truck driver, died Friday, August 7, 2015 at his residence. He was born on November 26, 1939 in Trezevant, TN to Alton B. and Beulah Nell Featherstone Elinor. He was a member of Beech Springs Baptist Church in Gleason. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers Bobby Joe Elinor and Billy Ray Elinor. Survivors include his son Ted F. Elinor of Jackson, TN, a sister Sylvia (her husband Junior D.) Simmons of Sharon, TN.
