Neal Umsted

Funeral services for Warren "Neal" Umsted, 91, will be held Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Cedar Avenue Chapel of Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home. Burial will be at Everett's Chapel Cemetery and Brother Phillip Halter will officiate. Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday August 12, 2015 11:00 a.m. until service time. Mr. Umsted, a farmer, a factory worker for Gaines, MFG and a member of Community Grove United Methodist Church, was born February 22, 1924 to Henry and Ollie Myrtle Allen Umsted. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers Bud Umsted and Jim Umsted . He is survived by his wife of fifty-four years Bonnie Sellers Umsted of McKenzie, one son Robert (Jean) Sellers of McKenzie, three sisters Pearl (Douglas) Winchester of Memphis and Shirley (Bobby) Brewer of Huntingdon and Alice Chappell of Gleason, two brothers Bobby (Janice) Umsted of Huntingdon and Wray (Brenda) Umsted of McKenzie, and several nieces and nephews.
