Joe W. Wilkinson

Joe W. Wilkinson, 70, died Thursday, August 27, 2015 at Vanderbilt Medical Center. Funeral services will be Monday, August 31, 2015 11:00 a.m. at the Cedar Avenue Chapel of Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Sunday from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. and Monday 10 a.m. until service time. Burial will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, McKenzie, TN. Mr. Wilkinson retired from Milan Arsenal as a Test Area Supervisor, and was a member of Community of Christ-Founder Hill, Puryer, TN. He severed six years with McKenzie's National Guard. He was born September 28, 1944 in Carroll Co. to Virgil and Roberta Neisler Wilkinson. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Edward Wilkinson. He is survived by his wife Vicki Fields Wilkinson of McKenzie, a son Joe David Wilkinson and his fiancée Debora Sampson of McKenzie, three sisters Carol Tidwell of Florida, Alva Tegethoff of McKenzie and Ann (Wayne) Camp of California, two brothers Bruce (Faye) Wilkinson of McKenzie and Ricky (Sherry) Wilkinson of Texas, six grandchildren Joshua Wilkinson, Brittany (Brad) Hunt, Ashley (Matt) Dillingham, Jake Koziol, Emily Tanner, and Holly Loggins and three great-grandchildren Kylee Hunt, Brantley Eaves and Joshua Tanner.
