Billy Ray Snider

Dateline: Henry, Tennessee Services for Billy Ray Snider, 71, will be held Saturday, October 10, 2015 at 11:00 am at Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Caledonia Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, October 9, 2015 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm and Saturday, October 10, 2015 from 9:30 am until service time. Mr. Snider, a farmer and former employee of Brown Shoe Company in McKenzie, died Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, TN. He was born on May 21, 1944 in Chester County Tennessee to Willie Ray and Lydia Lavenia Fletcher Snider. He was a US Army veteran serving during the Vietnam War era. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters Barbara McKinney and Judy Morris and a brother Glenn Snider. Survivors include two sisters Norma Travis of Paris, TN and Mary (Lloyd) Lewis of Henry, TN, two brothers Danny (Charlene) Snider of Gleason, TN and Larry Snider of Henry, TN, 15 nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be nephews and honorary pallbearers to serve will be Jerry Rayburn and Gaylon Melton Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
