Edgar Wayne Pounds

Dateline: McKenzie, TN Services for Edgar Wayne Pounds, 76, will be held Saturday, October 31, 2015 at 11:00 am at Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home with Brother Ted Hurt officiating. Interment will follow at Finley Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, October 30, 2015 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm and Saturday, October 31, 2015 from 9:30 am until service time. Mr. Pounds, a Toolmaker and Mechanic, died Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at Golden Living Center in Union City, TN. He was born on August 25, 1939 in Bradford, TN to Dewey and Lula Carter Pounds. He was preceded in death by his mother Lula Honey, his father and step mother Dewey and Etta Pounds, his son Colby Pounds and his wife Jean Pounds. Survivors include his daughters Amber (Ben) Yates of Union City, TN, Cheryl (Mark) Kuligowski of Lapeer, MI a half-sister Linda (Tommy) Martin of McLemoresville, TN, four grandchildren Gracelyn Yates, Braden Pounds, Katilynn Moss, and Joey Valvona, a cousin Gary Langley of McKenzie and nieces and nephews. Pallbearers serving will be Ben Yates, Randy Reed, Gary Langley, Khris Langley, Michael Langley, Tommy Martin and as honorary pallbearers Braden Pounds.
