Dateline: Trezevant, TN   Services for Danny Dwayne Curtis, 68, will be held Saturday, December 5, 2015 at 11:00 am at Trezevant First Baptist Church with Brother Malcolm Norton officiating.  Interment will follow at Trezevant with the Fireman’s Last Call Ceremony and Full Military Honors.  The family will receive friends on Friday, December 4, 2015 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 at the church and Saturday, December 5 from 9:00 am until service time.  Mr. Curtis, an Electronic Technician for ITT in Milan and retired Sergeant First Class of the Army National Guard, died Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at McKenzie Health Care Center.  He was born on August 15, 1947 in Trezevant, Tennessee to Wyman Odell and Mary Louise Walker Curtis. He was a member and Deacon of the Trezevant First Baptist Church, a member of the Pleasant Green Masonic Lodge #291 in Trezevant, was the Fire Chief of the Trezevant Fire Department for over 20 years and was also District Chief for the Carroll County Fire Department.  He was preceded in death by his parents.    Survivors include his wife of 48 years Phyllis Cunningham Curtis of Trezevant, two daughters Jenny (Sammy) Dowland and Angie (Shon) Cantrell all of Bradford, TN, two brothers David (Brenda) Curtis and Tony (Diana) Curtis all of Trezevant, four grandchildren: Caitlynn Dowland, Sarah Ann Dowland, Alexander Cantrell and Shelby Cantrell.    Brummitt Funeral Home-Trezevant is in charge of arrangements.  For more information please call (731) 669-3871 or visit www.brummittmckenziefuneralhome.com.   Pallbearers serving will be Donald Cunningham, Richard Cunningham, Wendell Barnes, Terry Bradshaw, Sammy Dowland, and Shon Cantrell.
