James Edward Finch

Dateline: McKenzie, TN   A Memorial services for James Edward Finch, 81, will be held Sunday, December 20, 2015 at 2:00 pm at his residence at 543 Cherry Avenue in McKenzie.  Cremation was chosen. The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 20. 2015 before the service at 2:00 pm.  Mr. Finch, a dispatcher for Hutchinson Transportation Service, died Monday, December 14, 2015 at his residence.  He was born on October 25, 1934 in Miston, Tennessee to Raymond and Virgie Nix Finch. He was Baptist in faith, served in the Tennessee Army National Guard, attended school till the eighth grade and later in life attended and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Bethel College.  He was preceded in death by his father Raymond Finch and his mother who later re-married Virgie Presgrove, two sisters Bobbie Rogers and Robbie Lanier, two brothers Harold Finch and Billy Finch.    Survivors include his wife of 60 years Judy Essary Finch of McKenzie, two daughters Teresa (Gene) Piccirilli of Somerville, TN, Kathy Finch of McKenzie, two sons James D. (Marsha) Finch of Millington, TN, Chris (Karen) Finch of Martin, TN, two sisters Brenda Toupounce of Humboldt, TN, Glenda (Wayne) Allen of South Haven, MS, nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren.  He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.    Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.  For more information please call (731) 352-4848 or visit www.brummittmckenziefuneralhome.com.
